We like what happens when the band and the crowd share a room and start responding to each other. You hear a phrase, someone moves, the rhythm settles in, and the night begins to find its own shape.
With Eminente All Stars, we bring son cubano, salsa, timba and Latin jazz into that exchange. Our musicians come from Cuba, Latin America and Scandinavia, and everyone contributes something to the way we play together.
There is room for the musical details, and there is room to dance. We want people to feel close to what is happening on stage and to be part of it.

About Eminente All Stars
Eminente All Stars brings together musicians from Cuba, Latin America and Scandinavia around a shared love of Cuban music and the possibilities of playing it together.
We start with son cubano and move into salsa, timba and Latin jazz. Each of us comes with a different musical background, and we like to hear those differences in the band. They shape the way we play, the ideas we bring, and how we respond to each other.
With percussion, piano, bass, guitar, horns and voices, we have plenty to work with. Sometimes we stay close to the tradition; sometimes an idea opens up and takes us somewhere else. We leave room for both.
And then there is the audience. The way people listen, move and respond becomes part of the concert too. That exchange is a big part of why we do this, and what we want to share wherever we play.
