With Eminente All Stars, we bring Cuban music into a concert where there is room to listen, to move, and to follow what happens between the musicians.
Son cubano is our starting point. From there, we move into salsa, timba and Latin jazz, bringing together musicians from Cuba, Latin America and Scandinavia. Percussion, piano, bass, guitar, horns and voices all have something to say, and we like to give them the space to say it.
We enjoy that moment when a musical idea starts to travel through the band. Someone picks it up, someone answers, and the whole thing takes a different shape. That is something we want the audience to feel part of, whether they are listening closely or getting up to dance.
If you are putting together a programme for your theatre or concert hall, take a look at our live videos and get in touch. Tell us about your space and your audience, and let's talk about bringing Eminente All Stars to your stage.
About Eminente All Stars
Eminente All Stars brings together musicians from Cuba, Latin America and Scandinavia around a shared love of Cuban music and the possibilities of playing it together.
We start with son cubano and move into salsa, timba and Latin jazz. Each of us comes with a different musical background, and we like to hear those differences in the band. They shape the way we play, the ideas we bring, and how we respond to each other.
With percussion, piano, bass, guitar, horns and voices, we have plenty to work with. Sometimes we stay close to the tradition; sometimes an idea opens up and takes us somewhere else. We leave room for both.
And then there is the audience. The way people listen, move and respond becomes part of the concert too. That exchange is a big part of why we do this, and what we want to share wherever we play.
